Thank you for visiting and welcome at akari's fanart den of iniquity!

This is my fanart gallery in which I store my measly attempts at fanart and collect my favourites. Those who expected to see photography would probably be better off with my other account located here. No doggie-eared boys there, but sunsets and landscapes.

For those who decided to stay: Beware of silliness and naked male chests. Fanart may be an art style a few people turn up their nose at, but as a hobby fanfiction writer I do not have any reservations about this particular branch of art at all. You will find fanart from all sorts of fandoms and all kinds of ratings.

Besides, cartoon characters with their often exaggerated poses and colourful hair and clothing offer the best opportunity to practice figurative drawing.

Take your time looking around, but please keep in mind that I am an artist on training wheels, keen to improve and ready to experiment. I can't compare with the majority of fanartists out there. All I ask for is constructive criticizm. I am grateful for every comment telling me what is right or wrong with any of my pictures or any message giving me tips on what or how to improve.

  • Favourite game: Diablo II. I love getting a nervous breakdown because of good, animalistic fear!
  • Favourite cartoon character: Saitou Hajime (RurouKen), Loki (MaLoki), Kagehisa Anotsu (Blade of the Immortal)
  • Tools of the Trade: Pencil. Pencil. Pencil. And eraser, of course.

ah i see, well fanfics are all well and good. i prefer pictures to words tho ;p still im glad you have fun reading fanfics of kenshin or something close to kenshin er something, >.<

To be honest: I don't know shit about Kenshin ;-)
Never read the manga and only have a mere idea of what's going on there. Still, I read a good fanfic on 'Kenshin' and tried to put a face to all these names. And when I'm in doubt, I browse deviantart.
So technically it would be wrong to state that I 'like' Kenshin --- although I certainly am able to admit that I'm sort of intrigued ^_^;;
